The use of learning scales and success criteria shows great promise for teachers who use them in their classrooms. However, making the most of these tools so that they are truly transformative instead of just a checklist can be challenging. This presentation focuses on concrete examples and methods that teachers can utilize to make learning scales and success criteria not just tools but transformative methods in their mathematics instruction.
