Joleigh Honey serves as the Mathematics Equity Specialist at the Utah State Board of Education, is the Past-President of the Association of State Supervisors of Mathematics (ASSM), the Secretary of CBMS, a co-author of Open Up High School Mathematics, and has been a mathematics educator for 29 years. Over the years, she has worked closely with colleagues to promote equity, increase belonging and student outcomes. She has presented nationally on these topics, including mathematics conferences such as ASSM, NCTM, NCSM, and special education conferences (NASDE, NCSI).
